Muse Records was formed in 1972 by Joe Fields, an executive producer for Prestige Records in the 1960s. The Muse catalog was acquired by Savoy Jazz in 2003. Notable artists: Sonny Stitt, Red Garland, Al Cohn, Zoots Sims, Chick Corea, and many more.
