Description
Direction Records (UK) was a subsidiary label established by CBS Records in 1967. It primarily released American soul and R&B recordings in the UK, but also issued records by British and Jamaican artists. Direction–not to be confused with the US label of the same name–was active from 1967-70. Notable artists: Taj Mahal, Sly and the Family Stone, the Chambers Brothers, and more.
