Description
Fire Records was an independent record label established by legendary record produce Bobby Robinson in 1959. Robinson was responsible for recordings by such blues greats as Lightin’ Hopkins and Elmore James. The label recorded and released records into the 1970s, but it was renowned for its prodigious production of late-issue 78 rpm records. Notable artists: Lightin’ Hopkins, Elmore James, Buster Brown, Arthur Crudup, and more.
