Jazzland Records was founded in NYC by Bill Grauer and Orrin Keepnews in 1960. It was originally intended to be an outlet for Riverside Records (also founded by Grauer and Keepnews) to re-release its older jazz titles at a discounted price. However, Jazzland soon after shifted to recording and releasing new, original material. Notable artists: Cannonball Adderly, Chet Baker, Harold Land, Nat Adderly, and more.
