Description
Vogue Records was founded in 1951 as a subsidiary of its French parent company of the same name. The label acted primarily as a European outlet for licensed American labels and their catalogs. In 1956, Decca Records (UK) acquired Vogue and continued to license and release recordings from American records labels, primarily from Alladin Records. Notable Artists: Lester Young, Sonny Rollins, Chet Baker, Sidney Bichet, Dizzy Gillespie, and more.
